The Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights is a charity and not for profit body. We are grateful for the support of the following organisations for funding our work to eliminate racial discrimination and harassment and to promote racial justice across Scotland.

There are a variety of terms and definitions used in the race equality sector. Not all organisations or groups are in agreement about the best words to use in this field.

Below are the terms and definitions CRER makes use of during our work. While these are not the only words or understandings that are in use, we find they are the most helpful in our efforts to build a Scotland free from racial discrimination and inequality.
